Did you know that the State of California requires that the owner of any vehicle involved in a collision with damage over $750.00 or any injuries file an SR1 form with the DMW within 10 day of the incident. Failure to do so can result in a suspension of your drivers license.
Did you know that only you as the vehicle owner can authorize repairs to your vehicle, it is illegal in that state of California for an insurance company to authorize the work to your vehicle, they are only a 3rd party payer. You as the owner must authorize all work.
Did you know that the deductible being charged by your insurance company is just like
a co-pay when you visit the doctor, It must be paid to the shop at the time of completed
repairs, If a shop is offering to cover your deductible, what are they not doing on your
car?
